I am a multi-skilled producer based in London, UK, with eight years professional filmmaking experience for the development sector. I also run community video workshops, designed to allow people without prior filmmaking experience to tell their stories using digital media. I am passionate about honest, well-crafted storytelling that has impact.

My filmmaking focuses on issues in women's rights and global health, and I have directed films and led projects in challenging settings including Afghanistan and Democratic Republic of Congo. My work has been used to lobby governments and I have contributed to outlets including the Channel 4 News, PBS and the Lancet. Clients include Girls Education South Sudan, Women for Women International, Freedom from Torture and the World Health Organisation. Most recently I completed the documentary In Our Hands that looks at HIV self-testing in Malawi from a community perspective. I have a background in commercial directing and animation and have created branded content for companies including ASOS and Diageo.

Professional skills include camera operating, video editing, script writing, participatory workshop facilitation and photography. I have an M.A. in Screen Documentary from Goldsmiths and have completed Hostile Environment and First Aid Training (2017).
