An A-Z of poverty

A-Z of Poverty is a project made up of two films and an illustrated publication produced to support Freedom from Torture's advocacy work, produced and directed by Sheila Hayman.  Clients of Freedom from Torture and members of the 'Write to Life Group' share poems and prose about their experiences coming to the UK.

On December 8th 2016 the film was screened at a Parliamentary reception celebrating Freedom from Torture's 30th anniversary. MPs from across the political spectrum congratulated the charity on its unique clinical and advocacy work with torture survivors.
