Digital journalism training | Global Girl Media UK

The fifth Global Girl Media UK Summer Academy was a practical and theoretical digital journalism course for ten participants, held in London (2018). The course covered camera, sound and editing, writing for camera, interview techniques, how to source and pitch a story, leadership, feminism and civic activism. The course also included a field visit to broadcaster Thomson Reuters.
Participants wrote and directed films on the issues of bullying and body image.
