Angela and Kardinell | Shelter

'How do you explain to a child who’s gone to school in the morning that they’ve got nowhere to live when they come home?'

Angela and Kardinell is the story of a mother and son's journey from homelessness. It was produced to accompany Shelter’s campaign to build more social housing.

The UK government needs to build 90,000 homes for social rent a year to meet demand, but last year just 6,000 were built. Find out more and sign Shelter's petitionLet’s build a better future: Call on the government to build social housing.
